6^th ANNUAL TRAVELLERS

2008 GOLF DAY

 

PLAYING RULES

 

Fast play, no delays – complete round in 4 hours and 15 minutes

 

·               MANDATORY > Please keep up to foursome ahead of you.

 

·               Maximum of one minute to search for a lost ball.

 

·               “Best-Ball Scramble” – After everyone hits their shot, your foursome selects the best shot of the four (i.e. “best positioned ball”). The other 3 players pick up their ball and drop it beside the “best positioned ball” and all 4 players take their next shot from that location. This also applies to putts.

 

·               One shot per player – for threesomes, each player takes turns taking 4^th shot.

 

·               A ball, whether in rough or on the fairway, may be moved a maximum of one club length from the “best ball” to secure a preferred lie. However, a ball cannot be moved from fairway onto green to secure preferred lie or out of a trap..

 

·               NO MULLIGANS !!!!

 

·               Ladies may play from ladies tees or men's tees.   Men play from the white tees.

 

·               Please abide by golf cart rules and signs.

 

BEFORE AND AFTER

 

·               Foursomes register approximately 45-minutes to 1 hour prior to tee-off time.

 

·               PUTTING CONTEST > one-half hour before your tee-off time.

 

·               Consecutive Tee-offs begin at 11:55 am

 

·               Barbeque & Draws for prizes at end of round

 

·              Tournament is on RAIN OR SHINE  (no refunds)

·              “Longest Drive” -  Men North Course Hole #4, Ladies South Course Hole #3

 

·              “Closest to the Pin”- Men South Course Hole #4, Ladies North Course Hole #3
